'Titanic 3D' Scores Top Opening of All Time in China.

James Cameron's 3D re release of Leonardo DiCaprio-Kate Winslet starer Titanic is a runaway hit in China, where the movie has scored one of the best opening gross of all time in debuting to $58 million.

Transformers: Dark from the Moon held the previous record, opening to $55 million last year in China on its way to grossing north of $145 million.

The good news for Titanic doesn't end there. The re release may have been a slow starter last weekend, but it has since taken off, which includes a 12-day worldwide cum of nearly $191 million through Sunday and pushing the movie's existence gross past the $2 billion mark.

Owing to the China opening, Titanic 3D easily won the weekend race on the foreign box office, grossing $88.2 million from 69 markets for a global cum of $146.4 million. The movie beat Universal's Battleship, which earned a projected $58 million as it rolled out in its first 26 markets (Battleship doesn't open in China until next weekend).

IMAX runs contributed $5.8 million of Titanic's global weekend gross, including north of $3 million in China alone. I Max's 12-day cum is $13.6 million, well sooner than expectations.

In North America, Titanic 3D came in No. 4 for the weekend, falling only 22 percent to an estimated $11.6 million for the cum of $44.5 million.

Titanic 3D's global cum of $190.9 million eclipses the $178.2 million earned worldwide by Disney's 3D release of The Lion King last year. Lion King 3D was a box office hit, grossing $94.2 million domestically and $84 million worldwide for a total $178.2 million.

The 3D conversion of Titanic cost $18 million, and was personally supervised by Cameron.

In China, the film's six-day opening gross is 32 percent prior the lifetime earnings of Titanic, which cumed $44 million when released in China in 1998, itself a record for more than a decade.

Britney Spears to evaluate US X Factor

Britney Spears is near signing a deal to seem on the US edition of the reality show The

.

The Toxic singer is claimed to be at the "final stretch" of negotiations with reality TV mogul Simon Cowell to be a judge at the singing show.

As per sources, the final pay deal will see Britney earn "probably nearer to $15 million" to the series, after it had been in the past reported she turned down a $10 million offer.

The star's pay will exceed the $12 million mark, which Jennifer Lopez earned from starring in rival series American Idol.

Simon is looking for two judges to exchange Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, who were axed after the first series of The X Factor after ratings didn't meet expectations. He and music executive L.A. Reid will stay on the panel.

One of the sticking points in negotiations stuck between Britney and Simon was supposedly the number of series she must commit to.

A source said: "Money isn't a problem for the show. As of now, they are looking to pay her $12-15 million for the first season, which includes a drastic price hike for a second year based on ratings performance. Simon Cowell wants at least a two-year pledge and Britney wants an out clause if she doesn't wish to continue after one year of service."

Simon has been particularly complimentary concerning the star in recent weeks, praising Britney - who's sons Sean Preston, six, and Jayden James, five, with ex-husband Kevin Federline - for her "resilience" in juggling her music and family life.

No Secrets

No Secrets was a lady band from the United States comprised of five members: Angel Faith, Carly Lewis, Erin Tanner, Jessica Fried and Jade Ryusaki, No Secrets debuted from the United States in 2002 with their single Kids in America, which was featured for the Jimmy Neutron movie soundtrack. Their melody video for the track Kids in America is integrated at the end on the Jimmy Neutron movie VHS.

Except for Carly Lewis, who was born in London, England, the members of No Secrets grew up in Los Angeles. Carly, who is the daughter of Adrian Gurvitz, a famed guitarist, took the very first steps toward forming No Secrets in 2000, when she convinced her father that it was her dream to become a musician, and the he could make it come true. The pair then determined to form a lady group. Cousins Jade Ryusaki and Erin Tanner, who were both of Hawaiian descent and had performed as hula hoop dancers, were scouted and subsequently tied the group. Then, Gurvitz placed an advertisement in a neighborhood newspaper, and Angel Faith answered, bringing her friend Jessica Fried together with her.

Once the group line-up had been finished, No Secrets started video recording songs, touring, and promoting their group. In June of 2001, No Secrets joined Aaron Carter in Toronto for that shooting of his video Oh Aaron, and additionally they collaborated in the taping with the song, providing background vocals. In 2002, they filmed their first video, a home VHS and DVD video named No Secrets - Get to Know Us. Later, in 2002, the group released their self-titled debut album, which included That's What Girls Do (from The PowerPuff Girls Movie) and Kids in America (from Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius), a remake of this 1982 hit which was popularized by Kim Wilde.

On the other hand, disagreements between members with the group led to the eventual break-from No Secrets. At one point, Carly, Jade, Erin, and Jessica recorded a remake of Atomic Kitten's hit "Whole Again," excluding (and unbeknownst to) Angel (coincidentally, fellow girl group Play had also covered "Whole Again" in the same time period and released it as just one from their album Replay). Angel, who had sung the majority of leads in No Secrets, then left the group to pursue a solo career. The four remaining members recorded and shot a video for the song "Once Upon Another Dream" for Disney's re-release of Sleeping Beauty, but they parted ways soon after this.

Besides Angel Faith, Jessica Fried is also believed to be pursuing a solo career, under the name "Jessi Malay." Erin Tanner has adopted the stage name "Nicki Foxx" (sometimes just "Nicki") and is also working on solo material.

In August of 2005, Carly Lewis married her fiancee Brian Merrick. Previous No Secrets affiliates Jade, Jessica, and Erin were among Carly's bridesmaids.

Alicia Silverstone Gets Mixed Reactions

Alicia Silverstone has drawn mixed reactions for her recent revelation on how she feeds her baby boy. The 35-year-old actress recently shared the story of her mealtime routine with Bear Blu on her health food website, TheKindLife.com. Along with it, she posted a video that sees her pre-chewing the ten-month-old's food before spitting it into his mouth.

"I fed Bear the mochi and a tiny little bit of veggies through the soup...from my mouth to his. It's his favorite...and mine. He literally crawls across the space to attack my mouth if I'm eating," wrote the previous "Clueless" star on the post. She went on to detail, "This video was taken a couple of month or 2 ago when he was somewhat wobbly. Now he's grabbing my mouth to get the food!"

The majority of her fans commenting about the blog post gave positive reaction. "I had never considered this before but it is the cutest method of feeding your baby! I've a 7 month old and It is my opinion I'll try using this method," one wrote. Another said, "I think this approach to feeding them is so cool. Alicia, you're amazing. To raise your little guy the way you want to and not care what anyone thinks, I applaud you."

Some others, however, didn't share similar sentiment. "I don't think this is a healthy way to feed your child. Children should figure out how to eat with a spoon. We are not birds, we are humans," another fan commented. "What's gonna occur when he gets a little older and see's someone eating, it will be quite embarrassing for Bear to go to them and try to consume the food they're already eating."

Certified Nutrition Specialist J.J. Virgin also weighed in, telling Fox News, "Sounds like she is taking eating like a bird for the extreme." The star of TLC's "Freaky Eaters" added, "While this tends to help predigest some of it as we start carbohydrate digestion within the mouth it could also pass along any bad oral micro organism she has too. I think a food processor and a spoon are a greater bet!"

Another one who found the giving method odd was Mira Jacob. The deputy editor of parenting site Babble.com said, "A lot of moms chew a portion of these baby's food; it's often a very natural transition. But this just looks really funny, like Alicia is making out with her son. There's nothing terribly wrong with it, it just looks really weird."

Britney Spears' Fiance Petitions to Become Her Co-Conservator

Britney Spears' fiancé, Jason Trawick, has petitioned a court to become the singer's co-conservator, E! News reports. Jamie Spears, the pop star's father, has held legal power over his daughter and her multimillion dollar wealth since February of 2008, not long after the singer went through a prolonged public breakdown.

Trawick was Spears'

from 2008 until previous this year, when he stepped down through the position to focus on their romantic relationship and his plans to open an arts and entertainment division for Famos LLC, a company whose partners include Mick Jagger and Dave Stewart. The couple got engaged in December, on the night of Trawick's 40th birthday.

If Trawick is granted a co-conservatorship, he will only have shared legal power over Spears' wide-ranging well-being - including conclusions regarding food, clothing and medical care - but will not control her finances or her career.

Funny lady Anna Faris gets solemn with profession girl clothing.

She hit the big time by portraying ditzy blonde characters in her film and television roles but Anna Faris looked faraway from unintelligent as she stepped out in the Big Apple
.
The 35-year-old looked able to take any business meeting by storm in her emotional blue frock which came complete with a daring high split AT the back.

Faris toned the stand-out countdown by covering up with a black blazer which matched her pointy toe kitten heel shoes.
She left her New York hotel displaying her icy blonde bob which she debuted earlier this year.

The star who is married to actor Chris Pratt, 32, beamed brighter than her bonnet as she made her way through the street.
It’s no surprise she seemed to be so happy.

After making her name in the first film of the Scary Movie saga in 12 years ago she has since gone on to provide and be nominated for awards attached to numerous roles including Broke back Mountain and My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

This year she can look forward to the release of her movie with Sacha Baron Cohen in addition to Movie 43, while a fifth Scary Movie is due in 2013.

Anna wasn’t afraid to show off her pale complexion, a feature she is starting to grow proud of.
The actress who recently partnered with Jergens on a campaign admitted to Allure.com that she used to expose herself to deadly sun rays a lot of as well as tanning beds until it took its toll on her skin.
She confessed: ‘I was addicted to the sun until a makeup artist I worked with on House Bunny literally pointed towards the lines I was getting on my face. So I switched to self tanner instead.’

The Dictator star continued on that she has now switched to some more subtle approach to help her skin look good.
‘I was bad at it because I wouldn't exfoliate and I'd always end up with orange hands and elbows and armpits-that's one area I never mastered.
‘Then at some point my actress friend told me to try Jergens-it isn't a self tanner-it's moisturizer

, sunscreen, and gradual glow lotion so you can't mess it up. So now I slap it on after I get out of the shower everyday.’

Angel Faith CD Review

Courtesy of Midas Records
Angel Faith has released her debut album, Believe In Angels... Believe In Me.

Angel's High Points

Although Believe In Angels... Believe In Me is Angel Faith's debut album, she has already worked with big Hollywood producers! Grammy-nominated producer The Matrix, who has worked with Britney Spears and Hilary Duff, as well as platinum-selling songwriter/producer Johnny Jam, who has worked with Mandy Moore, have lent their hard work to some of Angel's songs. Most of the tracks are dance-worthy tunes, like Believe In Angels and Just The Way I Am. However, the last few tracks for the album slow down considerably. Angel sings about romantic love in the heart-felt ballad, Love Is, and croons to a sweet melody in To Forgive You.
Angel's Low Points

Angel Faith isn't stranger towards the music scene. She was formerly the front singer from the all-girl group, No Secrets. Now that she has debuted as a solo artist, it's evident that she has a good singing range. However, this teen still needs several more years to develop her own music style, as many of her songs sound the same. Tracks like Lessons In Love and You Release Me sound oddly similar at convinced points usually in the songs.
Final Verdict
If pop music is your thing, then get a copy of Angel Faith's debut CD. Her catchy songs will get you grooving 'while you're chilling using your gal pals on a Saturday night.

Britney Spears sells her house.

Pop star Britney Spears has sold her Beverly Hills house for $4,253,000, almost 1 million dollars in excess of the asking price.

The 30-year-old Toxic hit maker, who has sons Sean, six, and five-year-old Jayden with ex-husband Kevin Federline, is now planning to rent a property with fiance Jason Trawick, reported TMZ online.

The house, which is situated in gated community, was initially listed for $2,995,000 and Spear's representatives anticipated multiple bids and a bidding frenzy for the estate.

The property could still sell for even more whenever a public hearing on the sale takes place next month.

As Spears is under conservator ship in probate court, there needs to be a hearing about the property, and anyone is liberal to attend and overbid the present accepted offer.

Alicia Silverstone feeds her baby.

Silverstone, who's a vegetarian and animal rights advocate, posted the video on her website, thekindlife.com. The feeding method harkens reverse to some time before blenders and infant food in jars, when mothers needed to pre-chew babies’ food to get them happening on solids. Proponents of “premastication” say that, particularly in poor countries, the move away from the pre-chewing method deprives infants of crucial nutritional value and immune defenses.

But dental specialists caution that premastication can pass bacteria and dental diseases from mother to child.

Britney Jean Spears was born in McComb (Mississippi) and raised in rural Louisiana (Kentwood) to Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears. As a child, Britney attended dance classes, and she was great at gymnastics, winning many competitions and the like. But, most of all, Britney loved to sing.

At age 8, Britney tried out for "The All New Mickey Mouse Club" (1989), but was turned down due to her young age. This directed her to an off-Broadway show, "Ruthless", for a 2-year run as the title character. At age 11, she again tried for "The All New Mickey Mouse Club" (1989) and, this time, made it as a mouseketeer alongside many stars of today (Justin Timberlake and J.C. Chasez of *NSYNC and Ryan Gosling).

Her big break, however, came when she was signed as a Jive Recording Artist in the late 90s. With the release of her debut album, "...Baby One More Time" in early 1999, Britney became an international success, selling 13 million copies of "Baby" and 9 million (as of July 2001) of her sophomore album, "Oops!...I Did It Again", released in May of 2000.

Alicia Silverstone

Alicia Silverstone

Date of Birth

4 October 1976, San Francisco, California, USA

Nickname
Queen Slice

Height
5' 5" (1.65 m)

Biography

Alicia Silverstone was born on October 4, 1976, in San Francisco, California, the youngest of three children to Monty Silverstone, a real-estate investor, and Didi Silverstone, a former flight attendant. Alicia's career began at the tender age of six when her dad took some photos of his young daughter, which eventually led to her getting several television commercials.

After a guest spot on "The Wonder Years" (1988) as a literal "dream girl" she moved on to movies. She landed a role in The Crush (1993), a sort of Fatal Attraction (1987) for teenagers in which she portrayed a disturbed young girl obsessed with an older man.

The nasty little role didn't impress the critical establishment but it wowed its target audience: teenagers. In fact, the role won her the 1994 MTV Movie Award for "Best Villain" and "Breakthrough Performance". It is interesting to note that during the filming of the movie, Alicia became an emancipated minor in order to get around child labor laws which would have interfered with her working hours. She was a dedicated actress from early on.

The film also caught the attention of Aerosmith, who hired her to appear in a string of their music videos. The first of them, "Cryin'", was voted the #1 video of all time on MTV. Silverstone was definitely a hit with the MTV crowd, but larger commercial success still eluded her. That all changed when she landed the role of "Cher" in Amy Heckerling's Clueless (1995).

Cher was the antithesis of Alicia's role in "The Crush; this time around she was a rich, naive yet endearing girl from Beverly Hills in search of love in the 1990s. The film was a huge box-office hit and wowed both audiences and critics alike and demonstrated Alicia's strength and bankability.

She was hailed as the woman of the hour, and branded the spokeswoman for an emerging young generation. She signed a deal with Columbia Tristar worth $10 million and got the coveted role of Batgirl in the Batman franchise.

Also, as part of the package, she got a three-year first-look deal for her own production company, First Kiss Productions. The first film released by First Kiss was Excess Baggage (1997).
